Weddings are personal. This page explains plainly what Keptus stores, why, and what your rights are. The data controller is InnoImprove Ltd (company number 16102235, registered office 3 Wylye Close, Warminster, England, BA12 9NX), reachable at hello@keptus.com.
What we collect, and why
- Account details — the couple's (and co-planners') email addresses, used to sign in and to send service emails like your purchase confirmation. Sign-in via Google shares your name, email and profile picture with us.
- Wedding data — what you and your guests put into the hub: guest names, RSVPs, meal choices and dietary notes, addresses given for thank-you cards, messages, song requests, guestbook and time-capsule entries. Dietary notes can hint at health or religion — we store them only to pass to you (for your caterer) and never use them for anything else.
- Photos, video and audio — what you and your guests add to the gallery and guestbook, stored at original quality.
- Payment — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers; we keep a record of what was bought and the email it was bought with.
What we don't do
- No advertising, no selling or sharing of data for marketing, no tracking across other websites.
- Your gallery and hub are not public and not search-indexed. Access is via your sign-in and the private links and codes for your wedding.
- Guests can use the core guest features without creating an account. Adding photos creates a minimal upload account behind the scenes so every upload is accountable — it holds no more than what the guest provides.
Who processes data for us
Keptus runs on established providers acting under contract as processors: Supabase (accounts, database and photo storage), Vercel (website hosting), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery, EU region) and Google (only if you choose Google sign-in). Some providers may process data outside the UK/EEA under recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep things
Your hub and gallery stay available for the service period described at purchase. If you delete content, it's removed from the live service promptly and from backups in the normal backup cycle. If we ever close the service, you'll get notice and a chance to download everything first.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing, and you can complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk). Guests can ask us — or more simply, the couple — to remove a photo or entry that concerns them. Write to hello@keptus.com and we'll respond within a month.
Cookies and local storage
Keptus uses no advertising or analytics cookies. We use the browser's local storage for the things the product needs to work: your sign-in session, and (in the demo) demo data that never leaves your browser.
